She is internationally known for her\u00a0expertise on ancient female iconography, matricultures and patriarchal systems,\u00a0medicine women and shamans, witch hunts, and female spheres of power.<\/p>\n<p>Dashu uses\u00a0images to teach, scanning the cultural record: archaeology, history, art, orature,\u00a0linguistics and spiritual philosophies. She has presented her\u00a0visual talks\u00a0in North and Central America, Europe, and Australia,\u00a0delivering keynotes, at numerous conferences\u00a0and published in journals and anthologies, such as\u00a0<em>Goddesses in\u00a0World Mythology<\/em>\u00a0(Praeger 2010) and the\u00a0<em>Encyclopedia\u00a0of Women in World Religion<\/em> (ABC-Clio 2018) . Dashu\u00a0has\u00a0published two videos on dvd:\u00a0<em>Women&#8217;s\u00a0Power in Global Perspective\u00a0<\/em>(2008) and\u00a0<em>Woman Shaman: The Ancients<\/em>\u00a0(2013). Her book\u00a0<em>Witches and Pagans:\u00a0Women in European Folk Religion,\u00a0700-1000<\/em>\u00a0was published by Veleda Press in 2016. <em><\/p>\n<p>Pythias and Melissae<\/em> (Vol II in Dashu&#8217;s 15-volume\u00a0series\u00a0<em>Secret History of the Witches<\/em>)<em>\u00a0<\/em>is\u00a0forthcoming in 2018.
